We have an exciting remote opportunity for a Solutions Architect, Senior Manager - Data and Analytics!

What You Will Do:

The Solutions Architect - Data and Analytics will play a pivotal role in shaping our data strategy, platforms, and architecture. You will be responsible for designing and implementing robust data platforms that support Pratt and Whitney's data strategy goals. Your expertise will guide us in harnessing the power of data analytics to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance product quality, and accelerate business growth. This role will bridge the gap between business problems and technology solutions.

  • Collaborate with citizen data developers in the business and analysts to ensure the data platform meets customer needs and user experience.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive data platform strategy that aligns with our business objectives, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
  • Design and implement an enterprise data architecture that integrates with our existing systems and supports advanced analytics, machine learning, and AI initiatives.
  • Collaborate with data governance leaders to develop and enforce data governance and quality standards, ensuring data integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend new data technologies and tools to enhance our analytics capabilities and drive innovation.
  • Oversee the management of data assets, including data sourcing, storage, and access, to ensure availability and reliability for end-users.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on best practices in data management, analytics, and architecture to technical and non-technical teams.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field and 10+ years of experience in a data architecture, data engineering, or software engineering; OR an Advanced degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field and 7+ years of experience in a data architecture, data engineering, or software engineering.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen - this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Strong customer focus and product management skills.
  • Strong understanding of the aviation industry, including key processes, challenges, and regulatory environment.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing enterprise data solutions, with a solid background in data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in big data technologies, cloud platforms, and analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage projects involving cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee's personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
