About the Role
Walmart is looking for a visionary Principal Product Manager to lead the development of our recommerce systems and tools, a critical aspect of our sustainability and circular economy initiatives. This role will focus on creating innovative, tech-driven solutions that optimize the reverse logistics process and enhance our ability to manage returned, refurbished, and resold products.

As the Principal Product Manager, you will be at the forefront of Walmart's efforts to build an efficient recommerce platform that drives value for the business while advancing our commitment to environmental sustainability. You will work closely with a diverse group of stakeholders, including engineering, supply chain, operations, and sustainability teams, to build products that revolutionize how Walmart handles the lifecycle of goods beyond the point of sale.
This position will report to the Senior Director, Product Management and is based in Bentonville, Arkansas. This is an onsite role; a full relocation package is available, but we are not considering remote candidates at this time.
What you'll do...
• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Walmart's recommerce systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and sustainability objectives
• Lead the end-to-end product development process, from discovery and design through to implementation, launch, and post-launch optimization
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, data science, and operations to deliver scalable, innovative recommerce tools and platforms
• Leverage data analytics and customer insights to identify opportunities for product improvements, drive efficiency, and enhance the customer experience in the resale, refurbishment, and recycling of goods.
• Conduct market research and stay informed of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to ensure Walmart remains a leader in recommerce
• Work closely with stakeholders and executive leadership to secure buy-in for product initiatives and ensure alignment across departments
• Ensure the recommerce product suite contributes to Walmart's overall sustainability goals by promoting the reuse, refurbishment, and resale of products, thereby reducing waste and enhancing supply chain efficiency
• Drive the creation of user stories, product requirements, and detailed specifications to ensure high-quality delivery of features and products
• Monitor key product metrics and KPIs to measure success and identify areas for continuous improvement

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related area and 8 years' experience as a product manager, ideally working on consumer-facing, large-scale, highly complex B2B/C products, Supervisory experience, We value candidates with a background in creating inclusive digital experiences, demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly. The ideal candidate would have knowledge of accessibility best practices and join us as we continue to create accessible products and services following Walmart's accessibility standards and guidelines for supporting an inclusive culture.
