Position Summary...
This unique position is responsible for leading litigation strategy for a docket of high-stakes complex commercial disputes and class action litigation. As lead counsel, you will manage all aspects of litigation, including setting strategy, editing legal filings, managing discovery, supervising outside counsel, and collaborating closely with internal clients and partners. You will spot risks for remediation, identify emerging trends, and advise the company on legal rights and obligations. Exercising exceptional judgment and litigation skills, you will help the Company navigate a complex and changing legal landscape. The position is expected to focus primarily on consumer class actions and complex disputes in the areas of privacy, real estate, contracts, and corporate law.

- Setting budgets and closely managing litigation expenses
- Providing actionable, clear, and timely advice to internal clients
- Recognizing operational risks and working with stakeholders to remediate them
- Identifying emerging litigation trends, spotting issues across matters, and ensuring consistency of positions
You’ll sweep us off our feet if you…
- Have at least seven years of subject matter expertise in consumer class actions and complex disputes in the areas of privacy, real estate, contracts, and corporate law
- Have a mixed background that includes private practice, in-house litigation management, and a judicial clerkship
- Have managed matters in arbitration and multidistrict litigation
- Are a thought leader who thinks critically about the law, stays abreast of changes in the legal landscape, and contributes meaningfully to legal discourse and scholarship
- Communicate complicated legal principles in a way that is easily understood and delivers decisive advice that can be acted upon by busy non-lawyers
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and work with a sense of urgency
- Are an excellent legal writer, having been the primary author in many critical and dispositive motions and appellate briefs
- Consistently exercise good judgment and have keen instincts
- Are process-minded and have implemented solutions to streamline litigation management

The annual salary range for this position is $160,000.00-$320,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
