Position Summary...
What you'll do...
- Ensures compliance with corporate policies and procedures and applicable laws and regulations in the area of transportation maintenance management; partnering with internal and external subject matter experts to guide the development and maintenance of regulatory compliance programs, operating procedures, and guidelines; communicating with regional teams to provide direction on compliant work environments; establishing training programs to ensure high risk areas are addressed in policies and procedures; updating Walmart maintenance operating procedures based on updates to equipment and changes in government regulations; and establishing relationships with members of the governing authorities to interpret requirements and ensuring they are understood, communicated, and implemented to support operations.
- Oversees the execution and development of preventative fleet maintenance by designing policies, procedures, continuous improvement programs, and metrics; implementing advanced green technologies; directing facility and equipment preventative maintenance, operational safety, and equipment audits; and analyzing lifecycle maintenance costs to ensure proper warranties, reliability, and maintenance cost improvements.

Manages regional preventive maintenance and repair programs for fleet equipment by ensuring compliance with applicable local, state, and federal laws, Department of Transportation, Environmental Protection Agency, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration programs; implementing and auditing procedures, facilities, equipment, and objectives to improve efficiency, green initiatives, and overall costs and compliance; creating and measuring operational metrics; providing guidance on correction of errors; and conducting follow-up with management to ensure compliance.
This position will have 30%-50% travel and will include the following states: Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, and Kentucky. Our candidate will ideally live in one of these regions.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
