Walmart Operations Finance is seeking a strategic and operationally savvy finance leader to support the West BU. This role will require you to interpret financial and non-financial metrics, analyze trends, and deliver actionable insights to drive business performance. If you have a passion for retail operations, analytical rigor, having an influential voice, and playing in both the details and the strategic visioning, then this is the role for you!

You'll make an impact by:
Advising Leadership - Provide business partnership supporting priorities, top-of-mind, helping connect the dots and providing a forward-looking lens for the business
Enabling Strategic Initiatives - Thought leadership & support for cross-functional initiatives - facilitating collaboration/alignment to accelerate growth
Financial Decision Making - Leading a high-quality level of financial decision support to the organization; collaborate with leadership to plan and analyze business performance by identifying gaps between business goals/objectives & identifying areas of growth opportunity
Communications and Presentations - Provides strategic input for business decisions by overseeing development of financial analysis/modeling incorporating assumptions, expectations, and known risks; preparing presentations and other supporting materials for recommendations
Talent and Leadership - Working cross-functionally to bring teams together through indirect influence; recruiting, selecting, and developing talent; supporting mentorship, on-going development, succession planning, and leveraging capabilities of new and existing talent. Cultivating an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics by integrating these values into all programs and practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance or related area and 7 years' experience in finance, competitive intelligence, data analytics, or related area in a high-growth technology sector
- MBA highly preferred
- 4+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams
- 4+ years of experience of forecasting and reporting
- 4+ years of experience analyzing data and interpreting results
- Experience working in a large, complex, matrixed organization
- Experience in Supply Chain, Retail, Merchandising Planning and/or Finance
- Experience working in Fortune 100 Finance
- Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
- Detail and results-oriented with a sense of urgency
- Comfortable with ambiguity

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
