What you'll do...
- Identify and validate data sources to ensure high-quality data for analysis.
- Formulate technical solutions to complex business problems using advanced analytics.
- Translate business requirements into actionable data strategies and initiatives.
- Design and implement compelling data visualizations to communicate insights effectively.
- Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in data management and analysis.
What you’ll bring…
- Proficiency in SQL, NoSQL, and other database technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical modeling and data quality management.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective data strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to present data insights to diverse audiences.
- Knowledge of functional business domains and data categories to identify suitable data sources and perform initial data quality checks.
- Expertise in analytics and automation techniques to analyze business problems and recommend effective solutions.
- Understanding of industry practices and business metrics to evaluate and translate business requirements into strategies.
- Proficiency in visualization tools and techniques to design data representation and build compelling stories using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, and Matplotlib.
- Understanding of data value, ecosystem, and governance to apply strategy principles to business problems.
- Familiarity with KDD tools, statistical techniques, and documentation to promote data discovery and establish standards.
- Knowledge of data quality techniques and tools to develop strategives and monitor performance.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 5 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field. Option 2: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field and 3 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field. Option 3: 7 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field. 2 years' supervisory experience.
