Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Creative Director of Marketing is a key role on the growing Walmart Data Ventures Product Marketing team. In this position, you will manage a medium-sized team of creative designers, motion designers, and copywriters working across the full spectrum of disciplines and mediums, from product marketing, to content marketing, to training and learning content. You will also partner closely with peers leading marketing operations, product marketing areas, as well as other cross-functional areas within Data Ventures to bring to life a cohesive marketing strategy and campaign calendar.

In this role, you will be the vanguard of our brand voice and visual style, nurturing ways of working that allow our creative team to deliver quickly and with quality in a high-paced business environment. Using finely-honed organizational skills and keen communication, you will guide campaigns and strategic initiatives from inception, to iteration, through stakeholder review, publication, and success measurement. You're also comfortable presenting ideas at the leadership level and have a passion for developing creative team members professionally.

This exciting opportunity will work primarily with Product Marketing teammates and key stakeholders in Business Development, Account Management, and Product. The role is on-site, based in Bentonville, AR or Hoboken, NJ, and reports to the Senior Director of Product Marketing.

You'll sweep us off our feet if...

  • You have 6+ years of creative team management experience
  • You have a creative portfolio that demonstrates your mastery in marrying sharp copywriting with compelling visuals
  • You can demonstrate how you have developed and implemented brand guidelines, creative templates, briefs, and successful ways of working across dispersed teams
  • You have experience in B2B marketing, particularly for tech products
  • You have an advanced degree in Marketing, Communication, or Business

You'll make an impact by...

  • Working closely with and mentoring a talented group of creative designers and copywriters and building a creative culture in a dispersed workplace
  • Rolling up your sleeves and taking pen to paper for projects, as needed
  • Streamlining our team's creative process to be both nimble, yet iterative, driving the highest outputs
  • Developing creative standards and easy-to-use guides and templates that drive consistency
  • Managing creative budgets for projects
  • Infusing our brand and its philosophy across the organization, Walmart, and beyond in creative and memorable ways

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10279:The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
