As a Director , Sales for Walmart Business, you ' ll manage a team of Account Executives (AEs) and Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to ensure key activity metrics and revenue targets are on track . You will drive the sales meeting cadence (e.g., weekly team huddles, pipeline reviews) and individual sessions to coach team members on performance and professional development. You will also work with the broader organization to share real-time customer/market feedback. Your success will be measured by the team ' s achievement of revenue goals

Who you'll work with:

  • Manage a team of Account Executives (AEs) and Business Development Representatives (BDRs), spanning all territories and customer segments


  • Work directly with the Segment Directors ( C ommercial, N onprofit , Public Sector ) to ensure the team is sufficiently meeting Segment goals


  • Work directly with Revenue Operations to communicate sales team needs (e.g., training, collateral)


  • Report to the Sales Group Director to review financial goals, activity metrics, and other KPIs

Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Revenue Management :


  • Ensure AEs are hitting revenue targets, winning new logos, growing existing accounts, and generating the pipeline


  • Communicate the progress and strategize the action plan to achieve the goals and metrics to the management team


  • Pipeline Management :


  • Work on improving conversion rat es and effectiveness of prospecting and support, supporting AEs and BDRs as needed


  • Conduct weekly pipeline review s of pipeline health (size, quality, progression) and pipeline generation activity (meetings, leads, sales plays) with the broader team, ensuring accurate forecasting


  • Drive AE 's and BDR 's capabilities to ensure sales pipeline discipline and quality


  • Coaching and Training:


  • Coach team on sales behaviors and strategic selling


  • Provide weekly 1:1 coaching meeting on performance and ad-hoc support (e.g., joined calls, deal inspections)


  • Drive continuous improvement in productivity and conversion ratios to meet and exceed targets and tighten the sales process


  • Liase with the GTM enablement and commercial technology teams to inform trainings needed across the broader sales team


  • Cross-collaboration on business strategy :


  • Work closely with senior leadership to set sales targets that align with broader business objectives and sales team capabilities


  • Drive alignment in sales tactics and approaches across segments


  • Interface with other functions to share relevant real-time feedback (e.g., competitive intel, customer perspectives)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience :


  • BA/BS Degree


  • 12+ years of experience in B2B and/or Enterprise sales, incl uding a m inimum of 8 years in building and managing sales teams


  • Experience in leading a sales team: quota/pipeline management, coaching, etc.


  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding sales targets and managing sales budget


  • Skills:


  • Proficient in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tech stack software


  • Ability to lead, inspire, and coach a sales team to achieve financial goals and metrics


  • Ability to use data-drive n insights to optimize sales processes and drive productivity and innovation in sales approaches


  • Industry Knowledge:


  • Familiarity with B2B retail and procurement


  • Understanding of the competitive landscape and key players in B2B retail


  • Adaptability:


  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment


  • Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and market conditions

Hoboken, New Jersey US-10649:The annual salary range for this position is $132,000.00-$264,000.00

San Bruno, California US-08848:The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Bentonville, Arkansas US-09401:The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
