What you'll do...
Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing of prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill is full of automation allowing prescriptions to be filled fast and accurately. But the best part of Central Fill pharmacy is taking care of our patients in the community. While we are not patient facing, our job provides retail pharmacies the ability to spend much deserved time providing clinical services and education to the communities they serve.
We are hiring a 2nd Shift Pharmacy Maintenance Associate who will work onsite at our Plainfield, IN Central Fill location.

Shift and Salary Details:
- 2nd shift must have availability between the hours of 2pm to 12:30am and will work 4 days per week (including Sundays)
- $33.30/hour base pay
Minimum Qualifications:
- 1 year experience working in an industrial, production, or manufacturing environment repairing or maintaining mechanical or electrical equipment in an industrial setting.
- Outstanding communication skills
- Relationship and Stakeholder management techniques
- Must be able to explain the reasoning behind decisions
- Effectively engage at all levels in well thought out conversation that takes a position
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years' experience repairing or maintaining mechanical or electrical equipment in an industrial setting, construction, production, or manufacturing environment.

Electrical Systems and Controls:
- Navigate and troubleshoot control systems
- Ensure wiring schematics meet safety standards
- Explain electrical inspection procedures concisely
- List relevant safety codes and regulations

- Utilize data to articulate results and recommendations

Operational Excellence:
- Explain operational functions and key roles
- Clarify departmental interdependence

- List common tasks in operations functions
Partnership & Collaboration:
- Support business case development
- Own project tasks
- Support process updates and changes
- Demonstrate functional knowledge of the business unit
Data & Digital Literacy:
- Gather and interpret digital data
- Communicate effectively through data storytelling
- Apply data quality checks
- Create reports using digital tools
- Identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making improvements
Negotiation:
- Prepare relevant information for negotiations
- Understand negotiating position and desired outcomes
- Engage in well-thought-out conversations at all levels
Custodial Activities:
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals effectively
- Perform routine cleaning tasks and participate in deep cleaning projects
- Follow cleanliness standards and regulations
- Report facility and material shortages
Schematics and Technical Drawings:
- Describe drafting conventions and tools
- Read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Identify basic functions of design systems

The hourly wage range for this position is $14.00-$20.65
The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:
- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)
- Sales Volume Category (SVC) (based on facility sales volume)
