VXBS is a key enabler of Visa’s seamless cross-border commerce. Historically, VXBS has delivered the systems, processes and capabilities to support foreign exchange services for our Issuer and Acquirer Clients around the world, and managed and executed settlement of consumer purchases in 28 currencies every day. As our network and our business expands, including with the introduction of Commercial and Money Movement Solutions (Visa B2B Connect, Visa Direct, and Visa Government Services) and use-cases involving global money movement, rapidly evolving consumer expectations with fintech, wallets and neobanks, new distribution models like open banking demanding API based multicurrency solutions, and new settlement models leveraging crypto beginning to enter mainstream, our capabilities are adapting to meet clients’ needs and support our vision for Visa to be the embedded cross border payments facilitator across a range of use cases – Purchase Flows, New Payment Flows, and Off-Visa Flows.
