What a Sr. Marketing Services Manager does at Visa:
As the Senior Marketing Services Manager for Visa Korea Marketing, you will be responsible for developing integrated marketing and communications strategies based on consumer, client, and market insights that leverage Visa’s rich heritage of innovation, unique portfolio of assets, and position as a leading payments technology company.
Reporting to the Head of Korea Marketing, you will collaborate with the strategy, consumer marketing, VCA and client, media & data marketing teams in hub to lead Korea’s client marketing transition into a comprehensive, digital-first approach for both Visa and our clients.
You will work on cross-functional projects with our sales, product, merchant, and VCA teams, focusing on new products, mobile payments, fintech, retailers, platforms, and neo-banks. You will develop new strategies for Visa and our clients, consulting them on how to utilize marketing capabilities to grow their businesses. You will have a deep understanding of the payment landscape and how our payment solutions enable individuals, businesses, and economies to thrive. Additionally, you will ensure seamless collaboration across the broader marketing team and other functional teams in Korea, the AP Hub, and globally to bring innovation to market.

Responsibilities:
Develop new client marketing strategies for Visa, clients, and partners.
Support the Head of Marketing in developing the Annual Operating Plan and client account plans.
Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of executed programs, optimizing performance based on results including selecting KPIs.
Consult with our teams and clients such as merchants, issuers, acquirers, and partners on best practices in digital marketing, with an emphasis on increasing profitability.
Collaborate closely with other teams across Visa, both inside and outside of Korea, on ongoing and new projects.
Analyze data on the digital landscape, payment industry, regulations, consumer trends, client businesses, and competition to inform Visa and client strategies.
Provide market, product, and industry insights to clients.
Lead and develop responses to requests for proposals, including direction and ideation for digital and product marketing strategies.
Establish relationships with agencies such as creative, digital, media, and PR for various projects, ranging from consumer-facing to business-facing.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in consultancy and/or client-side roles, with a focus on strategy, planning, and executing marketing campaigns, particularly in digital and product solutions.
• Superior analytical and problem-solving skills clear namely data-driven, detail-oriented with a sensitivity to design and messaging.
• Creative thinker, self-motivated, and results-oriented individual with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
• Ability to quickly understand new products, industries, and business concepts, including technical aspects.
• Ability to think from the client’s perspective, understand the big picture, and offer solutions that address their pain points.
• Experience managing and organizing agency partners, third-party vendors, and events.
• Ability to plan, manage, and execute high-quality, holistic product marketing campaigns end-to-end.
• High proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, comfortable managing spreadsheets, devising Excel formulas, performing data analysis, and creating PowerPoint presentations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present with confidence and impact.
• Strong team orientation: collaborative, diplomatic, flexible, and able to work effectively in a matrixed organization.
• Ability to make swift, timely decisions with limited information, even during high-pressure situations.
• Native Korean speaker fluent in English.
