The Visa Global Digital Sales team is a new team responsible for building out a digital response and sales coverage engine supporting multiple digital sales centers, enabling Visa to accelerate growth, leveraging continuous innovation with an optimized sales model while building deeper relationships with our customers.

The Senior Director of Demand Response will build, launch, and oversee Visa’s Digital Sales team with the goal to collect and deliver accurate and timely globally applicable analytics, provide actionable information solutions and analysis and design & plan the sales compensation across the business. The leader of this department will nurture and grow a high-performing team passionate about mining big data, turning data into insights, and making an impact through rigorous analysis, creative storytelling, and timely actions. They will be responsible for helping internal partners/stakeholders to make more informed strategic and operational decisions that drive sales productivity and contribute to our overall revenue growth.

 

The Senior Director of Demand Response Leader will:

  • Develop, launch, and lead team to implement and execute Visa’s globally digital demand response engine

  • Align and execute in partnership with Sales and B2B Marketing from leads to AEs at a global level

  • Build and deliver a consistent digital sales process and motions from sales enablement to tools implementation aligned to key metrics

  • Establish and define the key KPIs and data sets to determine Demand Response baseline and productivity metrics to drive growth and performance

  • Build a cost of sales motion that budgeting, planning, and capacity analysis to understand potential growth and marketing execution aligned to campaigns

  • Work with new B2B Marketing and Sales regions and global functions to understand how a Demand response motion can help accelerate our customer journey and engagement with sales opportunities in alignment with scaling via Visa’s products and services offerings

  • Effectively incorporates customer delivery motions that help scale and execute a modern Demand Response motions aligned to industry best practices

  • Optimizes AEs interactions to build pipelines, relationships, and opportunities, with improved communication and operational changes into future revenue potential

  • Continually evaluate and deploy new and improved digital sales processes and methods

  • Typically collaborates with Marketing, Sales Enablement and digital sales team/leads to create content and track operations and performance

  • Maintain and enhance sales tools, product/service costing models, and margin management tools/systems to effectively monitor and manage revenue/expenses.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
• 12 or more years of work experience in Marketing and/or Sales tools and solutions with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• Strong ability to work & influence cross-functional teams
• Ability to liaise at all levels of the organization
• Exceptional analytic skills and conceptual thinking ability.
• Excellent statistical and financial analysis capabilities.
• Extensive forecasting and revenue recognition experience.
• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, fun, demanding environment
• Communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business teams, as well as across all geographies
• Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate and lead others in an ambiguous environment to achieve high levels of performance and deliver sustainable value to the organization by holding yourself and others accountable.
• Strong relationship-management skills and ability to communicate effectively, and collaborate with, senior-to-exec management.
• Process oriented, with a high attention to detail and quality on both internal team work and external products brought to market
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial and nimble, while also able to navigate a globally matrixed environment
• Ability to work within a complex and often ambiguous environment, and to influence senior management and other relevant parties
• Global experience preferred

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 147,400 to 237,550 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
