Job Description

Team Summary

The Risk & Data Solutions team is responsible for leading the strategy, prioritisation, development and delivery of Visa’s product roadmap for all risk and data solutions in the Asia Pacific markets in our Value Added Services (VAS) organisation. The team collaborates with local and global stakeholders to develop and scale Visa’s risk and data solutions for our respective markets.

What a Senior Director Risk Solutions does at Visa:

As the Senior Director: Risk Solutions at Visa, you will have responsibility for the strategy and growth of authorisation and authentication risk solutions in Asia Pacific as these relate to card transactions.  You will have end to end ownership of the product suite, including the development and execution of the product strategy, product delivery, go to market and product performance management.  As a strong collaborator, you will work across multiple internal and external stakeholder groups to deliver against strategic objectives.

You will have a client-oriented mindset with a strong commercial understanding of a network business and application of leading payments technologies for securing payments. Your passion for growing new business and a market-focused approach will enable you to succeed in this role.  You must be able to manage working-level relationships independently while being comfortable to manage difficult conversations with senior level client executives and other stakeholders.

You will lead a high performing team to deliver against ambitious goals, proactively identifying new opportunities for revenue growth and developing creative solutions for complex ecosystem challenges. This role is based in the Asia Pacific Market Support Centre in Singapore.

Specific areas of accountability will include:

  • Development and execution of the Asia Pacific Risk Solutions strategy to achieve long term strategic objectives for the portfolio growth

  • Ownership of the product revenue targets, actively managing the portfolio performance and taking proactive measures to ensure targets are achieved.

  • Ownership of the pricing and commercial strategy for the portfolio including deal structuring and the development and commercialization of product bundles

  • Management of key stakeholder relationships in global and regional teams across our matrix organization to ensure the capturing and delivery of AP-specific requirements into global product roadmaps. 

  • Planning and delivery of communications and marketing efforts as these relate to the portfolio and being a thought leader and industry spokesperson for Risk Solutions in Asia Pacific

  • Execution of key product initiatives working across market and cross-functional teams across the region 

  • Delivering exceptional leadership, supporting the development and growth of a diverse and energetic team.

The Senior Director: Risk Solutions will report to the Vice President: AP Risk & Data Solutions.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

The following are mandatory requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree ideally, a BA/BS/B Eng. degree in related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in conjunction with a less technical bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 13 - 15 years’ experience in a related field with product management experience including product conception and launching, building, and growing product penetration
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Operations and Marketing
  • Experience working in a highly matrixed environment with global and regional teams and across a variety of stakeholders and clients
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
