Job Description

Team Summary

Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) is Visa's consulting division, serving Visa's clients (including card issuers, acquirers and merchants) and solving their strategic problems, focused on improving performance and profitability. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, payments, data analytics, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, VCA drives high impact projects with tangible financial results.

 

VCA Managed Services (VMS) is a critical component of our VCA strategy, providing our clients with the execution muscle they require to deliver and implement strategic projects. VMS brings the ‘best of Visa’ to the clients, playing the role of orchestration layer between client teams and Visa subject matter experts (SMEs). As clients confront increased challenges in their operating environment whilst also facing capacity constraints and capability gaps, VMS helps to drive implementation or delivery of their strategic initiatives, facilitating significant and tangible value creation.

What a VMS Program Lead does at Visa:

This is a 24 month contract engagement in Philippines where you will be supporting a leading issuer to launch a purchasing card for government organization

To succeed in this role, you will need to excel in project management, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.

This role requires you to:

  • Develop an overarching project plan of activities for launch including building a product specifications, card production activities and approvals and sign-offs for the same
  • Liaise with Visa product teams to provide implementation oversight and communicate client needs. Take ownership of the client’s network readiness
  • Review for readiness the bill generation process and contact center training and communication strategy
  • Review the user journey, the card launch communication plan and monitor activation statistics for the cards
  • Perform go-to-market activities by closely working with product managers, finance, operations, legal, compliance, user experience and external partners as required both at Visa and client’s side
  • Track and report on progress towards launch milestones to executive stakeholders across all parties
  • Identify and mitigate risks to the launch process by engaging support and escalating as needed
  • Circulate regular project status updates for stakeholders and leadership, seeking clarification and support where needed

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • 10 -12 years’ experience involving project management and/or launching new products (preferably with banking or financial services)
  • Good balance between strategic thinking and detailed, flawless execution with attention to detail
  • Proven experience in program and project management in a matrixed, multi-country, and multi-cultural environment

What will also help:

  • Experience in client engagement in product management/specialist roles
  • Demonstrated ability to research, understand business process and to propose ideas to deliver solutions
  • Understand the macro trends impacting payments, banks, and financial services and assimilate the information to develop value propositions and execute client adoption
