Job Description

The Analyst will be a member of Visa's Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) Interchange and Pricing Strategy Team, which is responsible for development of pricing and interchange strategies for Visa’s business in the LAC region. The position will be based in Bogota and will report to the Sr. Director of LAC Pricing Strategy.

Essential Functions

  • Provide detailed quantitative analyses in support of identifying and vetting new opportunities to drive Visa’s revenue
  • Work within cross-functional team and product/service owners to develop pricing for new products and services
  • Collaborate with all facets of Visa’s business in evaluating and managing pricing change opportunities, from forecasting and business case design to stakeholder impact assessment, approvals, key partner communications, and publications.
  • Query large databases to obtain the data necessary to evaluate different pricing opportunities. Build financial cost-benefit analyses and modeling to determine impacts for issuers, acquirers, merchants and Visa using VisaNet data, and make recommendations to management.
  • Develop rigorous, fact-based, quantitative analysis to support recommendations. Ensure strategic and financial soundness and alignment for any recommendations.
  • Support the pricing approval process from start to end. Make sure each proposal goes through the right governance, all stakeholders are informed, and everything is rightfully documented
  • Develop executive level communications. Communicate recommendations in a clear, concise and impactful way. Generate support for recommendations among business leaders across the organization.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
•2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications
•3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
•Ability to develop content independently, to prioritize workflow, and to adapt to changes in priorities quickly.
•Ability to prioritize deliverables and projects to meet timelines efficiently
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
•Ability to conduct complex financial analysis and modeling to support business decisions. Proficiency to derive insights from data and effectively communicate them. Knowledge of Power BI is preferred
•Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to interact and build credibility with functional and regional leaders within Visa.
•Self-starter, team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible, with excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
•Bilingual English/Spanish required, Portuguese a plus.
