What’s it all about?
Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational and macroeconomics, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.
VCA Managed Services (VMS) is an augmentation of Visa’s consultancy offering, supporting the execution and implementation of recommendations to help scale competitive advantage and operate to succeed in the digital age. We are looking for an experienced Payments & Cards Business / Systems Consultant to supplement the Visa Managed Services (VMS) team in an important Visa client (the “Client”) in Turkey.
This role will be providing work on behalf of Visa as a Contractor, engaged via a 3rd Party HR Services & Consulting Agency, for a fixed period of time.
What is expected of you, day to day.
- Manages and/or supports the delivery of consulting assignments in the cards and payments business prioritized by the Client, ensuring the project achieves the required outcomes to a defined deadline. This may involve managing a small team of Client resources, depending on the size of the assignment.
- Support Business and new product development to ensure continued market leadership in the cards business, including Managing relationships with IT in terms of preparing and owning Business Requirements for new products
- Produce insights, analyses and recommendations to improve Client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for client priorities across the verticals and segments
- Actively participates and supports the Client in ad hoc and business as usual activities under the guidance and direction of the client
- Serves as a day-to-day Client contact, regularly liaising with clients throughout the assignment lifecycle.
- Produce insights, analyses and recommendations to improve Client performance, boost growth, drive understanding of client issues and provide strategic guidance for Client priorities across the verticals and segments
- Delivers reports and presentations communicating recommended approaches
- Liaises with various Visa stakeholders and parties where appropriate to boost cooperation and experience sharing
Qualifications
What we’re after…
- 10 years previous consulting and/or banking industry experience
- Knowledge and experience of the payments business and/or cards business
- Experience in portfolio management, CRM and campaign management, ownership and management of payment and card business products and segments
- Ability to use data to solve business problems through strong Business & Data Analysis Skills (research and analyse market and client information to tell a story) and proficiency in some leading edge analytic and business intelligence tools
- Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders at various levels within the business
- Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently. High levels of integrity and business ethics
- Educated to degree level
- Proven stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent spoken and written command of English.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (written and verbal) including an ability to comprehend and convey complex technical information
