Money Movement Solutions is an exciting, new payment service that Visa provides to clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants, and service providers) the ability to facilitate funds transfers and disbursements from and to Visa as well as non-Visa accounts globally. Money Movement Solutions consumer and business applications include person to person (P2P) money transfers, marketplace payouts to gig economy participants, funds disbursement (e.g. insurance claims) and many more. The push payments market is growing rapidly in its payment volume, replacing cash, checks, and ACH with push credits directly into bank accounts in real-time.

The Money Movement Solutions Global Market Expansion Solutions team is responsible for delivering customer-centric solutions that enable our clients to adopt Money Movement Solutions quickly and seamlessly, allowing for scale, accelerated time to market and enhanced customer experience. The team is seeking a highly qualified Product / Process Manager who is passionate about enabling differentiated client experiences and delivering operational excellence.

 

As part of the Global Onboarding Transformation team, you will be part of the team accountable for the end-to-end onboarding processes for the Money Movement Solutions. You will be accountable to support the design, build, rollout and maintenance of processes into the Regions, and with a strong focus on continual improvement, simplification, and standardization, you will own and be accountable to manage the Automation and Digitization of Money Movement Solutions Onboarding processes, as well as the relationship with key stakeholders and development teams to ensure the development is delivered and aligned to the business needs.

 

This role will report to the Money Movement Solutions, Director of Global Onboarding Transformation.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Possess or quickly develop subject matter expertise on the Visa Direct Products, and end-to-end Onboarding processes, including functional hand offs and regional nuances.
  • Ensure adoption of new and optimized processes by regional teams in partnership with key stakeholders in other functional areas, like sales, client services, Change Management, Training, and Knowledge teams.
  • Own process documentation builds and updates to ensure proper consumption by end users in a timely manner.
  • Responsible and Accountable to harvest Business and Functional needs and translate them into Agile Users Stories to create a backlog of Requirements.
  • Drive and lead regular business backlog prioritization reviews and ensure alignment between stakeholders, as priorities and scope will inevitably change.
  • Drive and ensure agreement on the “definition of done” across User Stories, to ensure that “what will be developed” aligns with “end user requirements”.
  • Own the relationship with IT and meet regularly with them to drive the refinement of the development backlog to ensure prioritization aligns with business and functional needs.
  • Ensure IT fully understands the business and functional needs and you will drive in partnership with IT the translation of those needs into technical requirements.
  • Drive and actively address impediments that may impact the adoption or functionality of the solution being rolled out, by breaking silos to align business, operations, and development teams, to ensure collaboration and successful implementation.
  • Lead feedback activities with stakeholders during Demos and Testing and consolidate feedback to drive bug corrections and improvements.
  • Lead in partnership with development teams testing, rollout, and communication of new and updated functionality.
  • The role will require extensive collaboration with multiple global and cross functional teams to successfully lead project to completion and provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Own the delivery of regular detailed updates (report) of the progress of development and readiness of new and updated functionality.
  • Communicate Automation and Digitization strategy to Senior Leadership

 

As part of an agile and process-owner oriented team, the ideal candidate must be flexible to adapt to new business requirements, with possible changes or increased responsibilities based on the evolution of the business, processes, and team.

 

Key characteristics of the candidate include being comfortable working and engaging in a global matrix organization, exceedingly self-motivated with a proactive attitude, and an innately inquisitive nature. Supporting a variety of activities that include process management and process optimization, the candidate will be part of an agile team, highly flexible and collaborative, with a strong focus on continual improvement.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• Money Movement product knowledge
• Experience in product and project management, both Waterfall and Agile project methodologies.
• Practical experience with Jira, MS Project, MS Visio, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and the Microsoft 365 suite of tools (e.g. Excell, Power Point, Word, etc.)
• Be capable of managing various projects simultaneously and prioritize deliverables based on business needs.
• Experienced process and product manager with a keen sense of accountability, collaboration and change management.
• Excellent conflict resolution and communication skills to be able to work globally across different functions.
• Both written and oral communication skills are critical.
• Have excellent time management and organizational skills to maintain multiple stakeholders accountable for their deliverables in a friendly, collaborative, and constructive approach to ensure progress against strict timelines and goals.
• Capacity to understand business needs and have the technical acumen to translate those needs into functional requirements.
• Excellent negotiation and conflict resolutions skills to have the ability to maintain stakeholders aligned and working towards a unified goal.
• Critical thinker and risk management skills to be proactive at identifying possible issues, analyzing the situation, and making fact-based decisions quickly to mitigate risks.
• Leadership skills that are crucial to effectively coach, guide and motivate the project team and foster a productive work environment.
• Flexibility working across different time zones to accommodate regional support

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 100,700.00 to 146,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
