As a Management Consultant you will serve as a strategic partner to the Finance Velocity Office Program. This role requires interpersonal skills to influence and cultivate partnerships across functions, regions, and teams, to drive thought leadership, and successfully enact detailed financial analysis, business case development and performance tracking. This role will leverage detailed analysis to generate insights, make recommendations and be expected to develop effectively communicate through various mediums (e.g., presentations) to program leaders and executives. The ideal candidate has a background in finance transformation and/or financial analysis, preferably with a public company, management consulting firm and has proven results collaborating with team members and supported functions.
Essential Functions:
Problem solving and analysis
- Lead analyses to drive decision-making on critical strategic topics. Proactively identify issues and provide recommendations on solutions, leveraging input from cross-functional teams
- Performs business process mapping/flowcharting when evaluating end to end financial processes.
- Builds near and long-term views for growth that align with business strategy and data.
Project management
- Manages project workstreams within broader initiatives.
- Creates project deliverables to cement the results of the project in various mediums
- Supports business case development for key initiatives, ad hoc requests, and special projects.
- Establish efficient processes for quarterly and monthly performance reporting
Stakeholder engagement and communications
- Establishes and maintains relationships with a broad base of key stakeholders (i.e., executives and staff) in the business and serves as a key point of contact for issues.
- Acquires and maintains a deep understanding of the strategies, priorities, and issues of the business.
- Design and deliver compelling presentations to effectively illustrate findings, ideas and recommendations, tailored to various audiences including CEO, CFO, Finance Leadership Team and Executive Committee and Broader Finance.
Implementation support
- Identifies and implements changes that improve efficiency and effectiveness of operational decision making.
- Enable management by providing timely, accurate information
- Understand business drivers and recommend measures to further improve results
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
• 2-3 years of experience in management consulting required
Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree with at least 2+ years of relevant experience in a well-disciplined organization where best practices are integral to the management of the business
• Must have the ability to perform business process mapping/flowcharting as the company will be evaluating end to end financial processes through various assessments
• Advanced skills in creating compelling narratives, visually appealing and content rich PowerPoint presentations that will support executive level reporting
• Strong project management skills to lead workstreams within broader initiatives
• Ability to create a variety of deliverables for in-flight projects that can range from process flows, roadmaps, slide decks, policy documents, etc.
• Ability to gather and write business requirements as well perform user acceptance testing as part of system and tool implementation projects
• Proactive, strategic thinker
• Superior problem-solving skills with ability to communicate effectively with executive management
• Must be detail oriented to ensure accuracy and quality of output
• Experience performing financial analysis and modeling with strong financial acumen
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with other functional areas and understand the operational and cultural issues relevant to achieving superior results
• Client focused with tenacity to resolve issues and conflicts
• High energy and enthusiasm required to partner with multiple stakeholders
• Able to work in a dual reporting matrix environment
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 124,600.00 to 180,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
