- As part of the strategy consulting practice, play a leadership role in developing and delivering high impact engagements for Visa’s clients in the North America region.
- Responsible for delivering and implementing projects and solutions with U.S. financial institutions (banks and credit unions).
- Drive the strategy, pipeline, and agenda for the banks and credit unions in market.
- Identify strategic opportunities through a strong understanding of the segment and customer’s business needs, demonstrating value to our financial institutions and their clients/members.
- Develop initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, thereby ensuring that Visa is both the preferred brand and unique business partner.
- Position has direct reports.
- Domestic travel required up to 20% of the time.
- Position reports to the San Francisco, CA office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field, followed by 10 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
- Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field and 8 years of experience in a related occupation.
- Position requires experience in the following:
- Banking, payments and/or consulting experience;
- Managing and coaching teams in the execution of projects
- Driving the strategy, pipeline, and agenda for the banks and credit unions in market;
- Identifying strategic opportunities through understanding the segment and customer’s business needs;
- Key issuer business areas, including portfolio management, marketing, product management, operations, and risk management, for both credit and debit cards;
- Understanding of card issuers' P&L and critical factors in driving profitability;
- Analyzing data and building financial models to support recommendations; and
- Understanding of business intelligence tools to define requirements for new dashboards, data science models and predictive solutions.
Additional Information
Worksite: San Francisco, CA
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Travel Requirements: Domestic travel required up to 20% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $180,700.00 USD to $289,200.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity.
