Job Description and Responsibilities

The Business Demand Response Manager (BDR) will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to achieve individual and team sales goals and uncover net new and expansion opportunities
  • Develop and implement effective inbound and outbound BDR strategies and initiatives to support regional goals
  • Create and deliver team trainings to enhance and uplevel BDR skills and product knowledge
  • Collaborate with regional sales leadership, marketing, and product teams to develop and execute campaigns
  • Partner with the Global Demand Response Centre of Excellence (COE) team to ensure alignment and adherence to global frameworks, processes, and expectations
  • Monitor and analyze core KPIs to identify areas for improvement
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback and coaching
  • Actively participate and present learnings, insights, and performance updates at rhythm of business meetings

Qualifications

  • Previous relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree
  • Fluent in English and also a good proficiency in a second language (Spanish, French, Italian, Polish or German) highly preferred.
  • Prior experience in a demand response role, or related field with a focus on lead management and qualification
  • Prior experience as people manger.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills, with the ability to engage teams and leaders across multiple seniority levels.
  • Knowledge of the payments industry preferred.

The BDR Manager:

  • Consistently demonstrates leadership qualities and exemplifies Visa’s leadership principles
  • Effectively coaches BDRs, identifying areas of opportunity and strength and gives appropriate and actionable real-time feedback
  • Inspires, motivates, and guides teams towards achieving and exceeding goals
  • Commands a strong understanding of B2B sales processes, lead generation and pipeline management
  • Analyzes and uses sales data and metrics to make informed decisions
  • Possesses a deep understanding of their region and markets and can articulate and execute a data informed strategy
  • Effectively communicates with their direct team and across multiple management layers in a highly matrixed organization
  • Demonstrates expertise and exercises considerable latitude to determine objectives and to develop effective solutions to guide the successful completion of complex assignments under limited supervision.
  • Is solution oriented and provides meaningful feedback and recommendations for global and regional improvements and process, tools, and strategy enhancements
