The IAM Head of Operations will lead a global technical and operational team responsible for user and non-user security access role management and administration and risk mitigation processes. Contributes to the development of the Identity and Access Management strategy. Develops and drives strategic goals and support for access management processes and protocols.

- Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew. Provides guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
- Leads a team responsible for access security administration and risk mitigation processes. Oversees the data integrity for IAM data to enable accurate identity and access provisioning. Builds relationships across multiple business areas and manages the global access management services and processes provided by the team. Manages the resolution of complex elevated security-related issues.
- Manages and oversees IAM operations using departmental dashboards, and uses available data to identify complex problems, monitor progress, and measure success. Develops creative solutions for resolving issues and overcoming obstacles. Leads initiatives to close gaps, maximize business performance, and mitigate risk.
- Supports and maintains external auditor relationships. Assesses control activities and evidence related to in-scope activities.
- Acts as a trusted partner across IAM and business partners. Determines direction and decisions when evaluating complex requests, issues, and/or needed exceptions leveraging expert knowledge of processes, technology, and operational concepts.
- Consults, advises, and partners with divisional business partners to facilitate the approval and recertification of access. Ensures compliance with policies and procedures laid out by Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, IAM, IT and external auditors.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
What it takes
- Minimum of eight years related experience required. Experience in access management preferred. Supervisory experience preferred.
- Undergraduate degree in related field or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.
- Ability to obtain industry certifications such as CISSP, SANS GSEC, CISA, etc.
