Vanguard is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bank Account Management Analyst to coordinate the global enterprise bank account opening, closure, and maintenance processes. This role is highly operational, with a primary focus on managing the day-to-day activities related to bank account operations. Additionally, the analyst will collaborate on strategic projects that require gathering data, verifying its accuracy, and generating reports and dashboards. The successful candidate will facilitate operational efficiency and support informed decision-making both internally and with our business partners.
Responsibilities:
- Establishes partnerships with internal and external clients, board delegated authorities, relationship managers, business partners, transfer agents, and custody banks to anticipate and meet the needs of the client.
- Owns and drives the global workflow that enables account opening, closing, and maintenance processes. Coordinates the workflow to pass issues and requests across regional offices.
- Ensures service levels are met. Partners within the business unit, relationship managers, and with external banks to proactively maintain and enforce services levels.
- Performs and/or assists with processes that support the bank strategy controls environment. Provides analysis and reports to management.
- Recommends changes that will improve workflows and procedures. Integrates new or existing technologies into workflows and communicates updates to all team members, analyzing impact, preparing environment for change, and updating or crafting procedures.
- Provides consultation, facilitation and analytical support to ensure internal controls are accurately aligned and implemented. Provides consulting to the business on account opening best practices.
- Leads special projects related governance and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years related work experience.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Detail oriented and proven self-starter with ability to work independently and within teams.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to lead, train, and empower other crew members.
