Senior Account Executive — Memberships
The Sr. Account Executive — Memberships is a key individual contributor at Valence and will be responsible for sales efforts for our BONDS leadership development memberships. You'll be a self-starter, detail-oriented, with a proven track record in sales. You will be responsible for achieving quarterly goals for new memberships sold, driving strategic improvements to the sales funnel, and establishing strong relationships with new prospects. You will be speaking on a daily basis with executives and managers at companies across a broad range of industries. As an early team member of Valence, you'll have the opportunity to significantly impact the growth of our company and also make a huge impact on culture more broadly.
How you'll make an impact:
- You'll become an expert on Valence's product solutions.
- You'll drive the full sales cycle to attain new business.
- You'll generate, develop, and close new business with target customers & partners.
- You'll consistently achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
- You'll provide leadership and insights on new revenue opportunities, best practices, strategy, and sales processes.
- You'll manage a large pipeline and source qualified outbound leads
- You'll plan and execute retargeting campaigns
- You'll establish lasting relationships with decision-makers and build awareness for Valence within organizations.
- You'll work with Executive leadership to develop a strategic plan for the future of the sales organization, and will prioritize projects that will help accomplish that vision.
- You'll serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across all areas.
- You'll provide an awesome customer experience to all leads across all channels, including phone, email, and live chat.
- You'll set up and keep meticulous records of interactions with leads in our CRM.
- You have 3+ years of sales experience and a track record of exceeding quota.
- You have experience selling SaaS or community memberships.
- You have exceptional time management and are a proactive self-starter comfortable working as an individual contributor in a fast-paced environment
- You have experience in Hubspot (a plus) or other best in class CRM
- You have strategies for both high-volume outbound campaigns and experience using a consultative approach and developing trusted relationships with C-level executives.
