Primary Responsibilities:

  • Being an integrated engineering leader for global teams and able to positively influence team members, peers, customers and stakeholders by leading product team of 10+ members
  • Provide product and software engineering leadership for the function by leading multiple scrum teams and own end to end implementation of solutions within schedule, budget and quality
  • Establish and control code quality standards, development best practices, defect-free code delivery by providing technical oversight for Java, Managed File Transfer & Full stack development in Java/J2EE based enterprise grade applications
  • End to end application Design, Development and DevOps implementation
  • Propose and drive automation to reduce efforts of development, operations and maintenance
  • Portfolio/Team management - Hiring, Employee Retention, Performance & Talent Management
  • Define and measure key service SLA/KPI's and drive continuous improvement with
  • Build stakeholder relationships and act as Trusted delivery partner

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years total product engineering experience with solid foundations on engineering architecture, design thinking with 3+ years of managing large product teams experience
  • Technical Management with experience in implementation of enterprise applications and lead engineering teams by coaching/mentoring them
  • Solid technical and platform knowledge, including some or all of: Java Core, Spring, Angular open-source related technologies - SPLUNK, MySQL, Kafka, Queueing, Streaming, NoSQL, DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes. Good understanding of Development processes and tools - Sonar, Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD
  • Thorough understanding of product management framework, software engineering and computer science principles: object-oriented design, structured design, databases, algorithms, data structures, usability, debugging, and configuration management
  • Azure Cloud knowledge
  • Proven excellent interpersonal skills including written and verbal skills with the ability to create and maintain solid relationships with members of cross departmental teams
