This is a dual-role position. The primary function is working at the front desk, handling check-in/check-out, collecting copayments, obtaining patient forms and insurance cards, and rescheduling follow-up appointments. This role will back up lab services at the site, which include vitals, injections, blood draws, and specimen collections.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Functions:
- Check in - check out patients
- Collect Copayment from patients
- Obtain registration forms
- Schedule patients upon checkout or by telephone
- Maintain provider schedules maintain provider schedules
- Assist with referrals as needed
- Handle refill requests
- CMA Functions:
- Checking vitals
- Venipuncture
- Injection Administration
- Urine Drug Screen Processing

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working in a medical office
- Ability to use computers & office equipment in a highly efficient manner
- Proven excellent communication and interpersonal skills
