This role will be part of the Global Treasury Operations team based in Switzerland. This is a very diverse role with broad Treasury responsibilities within an international and diverse landscape. The Global Treasury team is composed by more than 10 nationalities.

Assistant Treasury Manager (m/f/d)

YOUR TASKS:

Not just any job: Your main tasks in this role are:
  • Execution of daily liquidity management and FX management processes.
  • Advise Operating companies (local operations) about best practices and services offered by the Global Treasury Operations team. Key emphasis will be to balance global standardization with local requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with banks, both for transactional services (payments/collections) as well as for FX and cash management.
  • Be up to date with respect to market developments in the area of FX and cash management. This is applicable to both developments in financial markets as well as in developments in processing FX and cash management activities.
  • Be involved and lead projects for further development of Global Treasury Operations
In order to fulfil the role, the candidate should have a track record in efficiently managing multiple daily processes, working with various local and central teams and transforming local requirements into harmonized processes and systems. A high energy level is required to manage the changes related to on-going Global Treasury Operations projects.

Challenges
  • Support Global Treasury Operations initiatives by promoting a global benefit attitude when dealing with internal stakeholders
  • Resolve time sensitive issues (e.g. FX settlement, A/P, A/R, etc.) with the appropriate internal and external stakeholders, and know when to escalate unresolved issues to senior management in a timely manner
  • Achieve consensus of projects involving stakeholders from various parts of the business and different disciplines (e.g. local Finance Teams, Controllers, IT, Legal, etc.) with conflicting views
WHAT YOU CONTRIBUTE:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a specialization in finance with a few years of relevant work experience in Treasury/Finance (Master's degree would be an advantage)
  • ACT Treasury qualifications would be an advantage
  • Work experience in FMCG and/or in a global/complex organization (would be an advantage)
  • Verbal and Written communications skills to address a wide range of internal and external work levels (English required / Spanish would be an advantage)
  • Good understanding of FX and cash management products
  • Affinity with financial markets and IT applications
  • Change and project management
  • Ability to disseminate knowledge to other department members
  • Ability to foster excellent working relationships with internal and external counterparts at all levels
  • Good organization and prioritization
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Resilient with good negotiation skills
