We’re looking for a Treasury Manager to join Snap Inc! As a member of the Treasury team, you’ll play a key role in providing valuable insights that can translate into business recommendations. Working from our Santa Monica, CA office, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company’s operations
What you'll do:
Oversee and manage Snap’s corporate treasury operations
Oversee and manage the company’s global cash position and global cash flow forecast, monitoring and building on a consolidated basis as well as an entity basis
Build financial models to optimize our working capital metrics and improve forecasting accuracy
Manage excess cash and maximize return on investments in compliance with investment policy
Recommend strategies for managing investments including changes in investments policy to address changes in market conditions
Partner with Tax, Legal, and Accounting teams to execute capitalizations, intercompany loans, intercompany settlements, and other treasury operations projects
Managing intercompany relationships and settlements, maintaining appropriate capital levels for operating needs to support Treasury’s cash liquidity strategies, and ensuring FX exposure is managed appropriately
Ensure compliance with Treasury controls and assist in all quarterly and annual review and audit requests
Support M&A transactions and integrations
Quantify and analyze the company-wide foreign currency transaction, economic, and translation exposures
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Extensive treasury operations experience including banking/cash operations and cash management/forecasting
Prior work experience in multiple areas within treasury (Cash Management, Treasury Operations, FX, or Investment Management)
Experience working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and establish strong relationships
Strong curiosity and willingness to learn and improve processes
Exceptional understanding of GAAP accounting
Significant expertise with Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint and Google Docs/Sheets
Very solid experience using various Treasury, banking, and financial reporting systems
Foreign currency risk management experience in cash flow and balance sheet hedging is highly preferred
Experience within a publicly traded company treasury function is highly preferred
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in accounting, finance or related field
5+ years of relevant treasury professional experience (including 3+ years of experience managing people and leading a team)
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in tech or digital media industries
Master’s degree or MBA
Experience in global corporate treasury
