About the role

The Analytics Consultant is a business intelligence focused expert that leads the design and development of reporting solution. The consultant is responsible for interacting with other business and technical project stakeholders to gather business requirements and ensure successful delivery. The consultant should be able to leverage the strengths and capabilities of the software tools to provide an optimized solution for the customer.

The Analytics Consultant will also be responsible for developing custom analytics solutions and reports to specifications provided and support the solutions delivered.

The candidate must be able to effectively communicate ideas both verbally and in writing at all levels in the organization, from executive staff to technical resources. The role requires working with the Program/Project manager, the Management Consultant and the customer to document the overall solution and ensure it will meet the scope and customer expectations.

Responsibilities:
• Lead the Reporting and Data Strategy sessions and put together a recommended solution for our Pro WFM customers.
• Document customer's business requirements and convert those into Design Documents.
• Builds software applications (Reporting Solutions) and deploy them in customer environments
• Develop, support, maintain, and implement complex Reports
• Works as a fully contributing team member under broad supervision/guidance
• Create functional and technical specification documents
• Collaborates with other members of the team including architects, product owners, quality engineering team members, and documentation writers to ensure appropriate implementation of business requirements
• Ensures timely and appropriate updates to relevant technical training material
• Works on problems of relatively complex scope, through general usage of standard programming

Qualifications:
• 4+ years of development experience
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Prior customer facing consulting experience strongly preferred
• Must have hands-on experience with at least one data visualization tools such as BIRT Desktop (preferred), IBM Cognos, etc.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau or MicroStrategy is a BIG plus!
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform or any other Cloud is preferred
• Good understanding of SQL is required
• Good understanding of APIs (REST, GraphQL) is preferred
• Good experience with Unit Testing processes and tools
• Kronos/UKG domain general knowledge
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly is required
