About The Role
As the manager of the practice, your role will be to support the ongoing growth of our ANZ Delivery Service team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring all operational needs and processes are effective in driving the continual success of our services delivery.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all engagements are planned, recorded and managed consistent with defined best practices
• Effectively leverage resources in an inter/intra cooperative manner, ensuring that customer and operational objectives are maximized.
• Oversee the effective management of Project Issues and Risks
• Accurately forecast project staffing needs across the Practice and work closely with the Resource Manager to staff projects while maximizing overall staff utilisation.
• Directly manage Project Management staff and Partners, inspire them to achieve their best, and provide on-going career development/mentoring.
• Identify and implement key improvement initiatives that result in efficiencies and innovations that benefit external and internal stakeholders
• Continually monitor all engagements owned to ensure that engagements are managed effectively and efficiently, as measured by project and Practice profitability and customer reference ability.
• Ensure that operational metrics are achieved or exceeded as the basis for measuring operational excellence
• Conduct ongoing engagement/project reviews ensuring a detailed understanding of project status, scope, and risks. In addition, the position is expected to effectively manage backlog within the Practice.
• Provide monthly forecast input with an emphasis on predictability, demonstrating control of the business.
• Manage the Post Implementation Customer Survey process and strive for=>8 score in Overall feedback; Customer Follow up on anything lower than 7
• Oversee the use of UKG Project Workbooks across the PM group
• Produce Monthly Project Summary Reports
• Provide cover and support for Project Manager Team and other Delivery Services Management
• Make decisions, referring to Senior Management by exception.
• Be Executive Sponsor on selected projects
Qualifications:
• Ideally a bachelor's degree with minimum of 3 years managing a Professional Service operation or with a strong track record as a Senior Project Manager
• Knowledge of the Workforce Management space a plus.
• Ambitious experienced professional services leader with proven customer-facing skills, strong project management skills and enterprise software experience.
• Experience in communicating technical and project information in a business context.
• Strong ability to lead teams as well as participate as an effective team player.
• Understanding of professional services operations, including performance benchmarks/levers, resource deployment, staff development, services quoting, and partner management
• Strong business acumen - planning, forecasting, budgeting. Possess understanding of financial fundamentals including revenue recognition requirements within the software and service industry.
