We are looking for a talented and passionate Lead User Experience Researcher to join our team. In this role, you will help define, test and bring to life a range of solutions that serve UKG customers and users. We are looking for individuals contributors with strong UXR experience who can lead complex and strategic projects and support the delivery of customer and business value.

You'll work with designers, product managers, and other cross-functional partners to lead cross-suite initiatives. You'll be a key collaborator on our Research team and the larger Experiences organization. You'll be joining a talented group that is passionate, supportive, creative, adaptable, organized, and of course user-focused.

Responsibilities
• Partner with teammates from design, product, engineering, strategy and enablement to identify, plan, execute and communicate impactful research projects across UKG's products, and the entire user or customer journey.
• Lead research using qualitative and quantitative methods to inform and inspire design strategy and product development. Represent our current and potential user and customer experiences by conveying durable insights in clear and actionable ways.
• Act as a thought leader in the organization by developing and socializing a strategic point of view on key topics. Advise senior stakeholders and inform north star direction.
• Help our team continuously identify and learn about current and potential opportunities to better serve our users, inspire product strategy, and encourage design iteration.
• Experiment with innovative methodologies to shed new light on client experiences to help inform business decisions.
• Be a champion for a customer- and data-focused culture in UKG. Raise the methodological bar within the User Research team and mentor other team members.
• Advise partners in conducting best in class customer feedback methods across the organization.

Minimum Required Qualifications
• 5+ years of professional user research experience, with a demonstrated knowledge of User Experience principles and best practices
• MS/BS/BA degree in Human Computer Interaction, User Experience/Usability, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors or related discipline or equivalent experience

Preferred
• Solid understanding and practical application of qualitative and quantitative research methods like usability testing, field research, interviewing, gaining insights from product and analytics data etc.
• Expert with user testing and research tools such as UserTesting.com, Qualtrics or similar. Familiarity with usage analytics tool (e.g., Google Analytics, Pendo) preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to develop creative and practical research approaches to complex design problems.
• Experience facilitating design and ideation sprints. Familiarity with a variety of workshop methods and recipes.
• Subject matter expertise related to workforce management, human resource management and/or talent management is a plus.
• Experience working with research at the intersection of hardware, software and service design.
• Experience with Enterprise software applications highly preferred.
• Self-motivated and action-oriented. Ability to execute multiple initiatives at a high level of quality in a fast-paced, complex environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with customers, designers, stakeholders, and developers. Collaborative, team player.

The pay range for this position is $142,100.00 to $204,200.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
