About the Role

The Lead Business Systems Analyst (BSA) will be responsible for analyzing and improving business processes, identifying system requirements, and ensuring that our HR technology solutions meet the organization's business goals. The Lead BSA will work closely with stakeholders, including COE Business Leaders, HR Technology, IT teams, and external vendors, to understand business needs and translate them into technical system specifications and functional solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Work with business stakeholders to identify and document business needs, goals, and system requirements
Process Mapping & Improvement: Analyze current business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend system-based solutions to optimize operations
System Design & Specification: Develop clear and comprehensive system specifications and functional requirements for new or modified systems
Stakeholder Communication: Act as the liaison between business units, HR Technology and IT teams, ensuring effective communication of business requirements and technical specifications
Testing & Validation: Oversee or assist with the development of test plans and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure systems meet requirements
Change Management: Assist in the planning and implementation of system changes and enhancements, including training and supporting users
Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of systems, workflows, and processes, ensuring that all changes are well-documented for future reference
Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support for system-related issues, troubleshooting problems and coordinating solutions with the HR Technology team
Project Management Support: Effectively Project Manage mid to large size projects using agile methodologies within designated timelines
Participate in other projects or tasks as assigned

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology preferred, or equivalent experience
  • 4-6 years' experience working with information technologies and systems analysis utilizing an enterprise-wide HR system or multiple systems.
  • Solid understanding of UKG Products preferred (or other similar HCM/Payroll/Timekeeping/LMS systems)
  • Strong ability to work with tools like Microsoft Visio, SQL, or similar business analysis and project management tools
  • Strong ability to analyze complex systems and business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions
  • Understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC) & Agile methodologies, project management tools, and database management systems

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Organized, detail oriented and able to multi-task in fast paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
  • Creative and analytical thinking to develop effective solutions to business challenges
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring high-quality deliverables
  • Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA), or Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP) preferred

The pay range for this position is $99,800 to $130,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location. This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
