About the Role

Join the Supply Operations team at Uber Japan! We're seeking passionate individuals to help launch and grow our business in new regions, expanding our network of delivery partners to fulfill our mission of delivering anything, anywhere, at any time.

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in establishing our presence in new markets, and optimizing the delivery partner community on Uber's platform. We're looking for someone with strong analytical skills, creative problem-solving abilities, and strategic thinking. Your execution skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams will be key to driving impactful growth and success in the Uber Eats business.

  • Execute Growth Initiatives: Drive and implement strategies to expand our delivery partner network in new regions, ensuring robust growth.
  • Analyze Operational Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators and conduct analyses to identify and address any operational abnormalities.
  • Maintain Marketplace Health: Ensure a high-quality customer experience by managing the balance between supply and demand within the marketplace.
  • Develop and Execute Campaigns: Plan and execute events and campaigns for user acquisition, ranging from on-the-ground initiatives to innovative CRM strategies that engage potential delivery partners.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with various teams to align efforts and enhance the overall performance of the Uber Eats business in new markets.

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum 4-8 years of relevant experience in a fast-growing environment. Evidence of complete ownership of a multifaceted project with many stakeholders is highly valued.
  • Reliable, effective stakeholder management and communications.
  • Attention to detail and capability to work on multiple projects in parallel without compromising the quality of deliverables.
  • Flexible self-starter, comfortable with changes.
  • Native level fluency in Japanese, business level English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solid analytical ability and end-to-end ownership. Ability to discover user insights based on qualitative and quantitative analysis, turn insights into strategies, and drive executions in a scalable and efficient way.
  • Experience in vendor management, marketing or sales
