About the Role

As a Strategic Partner Lead, you'll take the reins of one of our largest grocery accounts while also overseeing a diverse portfolio of smaller partners. Your mission? Build innovative, long-term strategies that drive explosive growth for both Uber Eats and our partners, while delivering unparalleled user experiences. You'll be at the heart of revolutionizing how grocery brands scale their delivery operations in today's on-demand world.

What You'll Do:

You will take full ownership of one of our top grocery partners, working closely with them to drive sustainable growth and elevate the user experience, all with the ultimate aim of making Uber Eats their preferred delivery platform!

  • Own the Partnership: Take full ownership of one of our premier grocery accounts, collaborating closely with their leadership to grow their business sustainably while ensuring Uber Eats becomes their go-to delivery platform. Your influence will be key in shaping their on-demand strategy.
  • Drive Growth: Develop and execute ambitious growth plans-whether that's expanding to new locations or boosting performance at existing ones through innovative marketing strategies and product optimization. You'll be at the cutting edge of driving increased sales and market share.
  • Lead with Data: Use an analytical approach to prioritize initiatives that deliver the highest ROI. Your decisions will be data-driven, laser-focused on creating maximum value for both Uber Eats and our partners.
  • Shape the Future: Lead high-impact commercial discussions, securing long-term, mutually beneficial agreements that solidify Uber Eats' role as a critical growth partner for your accounts.
  • Optimize Operations: Innovate on processes and tools to create operational efficiency across the board. You'll constantly seek improvements, setting new benchmarks for excellence in collaboration with internal teams, including finance, marketing, and operations.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a high-performing team of Account Managers, providing strategic guidance and acting as the escalation point for key accounts. You'll empower your team to drive exceptional outcomes, while fostering collaboration and innovation within your group.

What We're Seeking:

  • 7+ years of customer or client facing experience ideally in Tech, Retail or FMCG, previous customer-facing experience at executive levels
  • 2+ years line management experience leading and coaching others to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Previous experience achieving business targets and over delivering vs plan.
  • Commercial acumen. Understanding of how businesses and organizations work and how to navigate a partner's business.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage diverse stakeholders across businesses and levels.
  • Experience in developing and optimizing processes. Ability to take big picture ideas and projects and break them into actionable steps with ambitious targets for completion.
  • Great project manager who can create meticulously detailed execution plans for large-scale projects (eg. launching new product, onboarding major enterprise) and then deliver them to plan regardless of any surprises or ambiguity along the way.
  • Data driven decision making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking.
