The Uber Airports team manages the largest segment within Uber's rides business. Our mission is to help airport travelers understand what to expect, when to request a ride, where to go, and how to find their driver, no matter where they land in the world.

---- What the Candidate Will Do ----

  1. Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and build cross-functional solutions.
  2. Build exciting features that elevate the experience in both Uber app and Driver app.
  3. Track the success of your feature experiments, collaborating with Data Science, Design, and Product teams to iterate on delightful user experiences.

---- Basic Qualifications ----
  1. 2+ years of experience in iOS development.
  2. Highly proficient in Swift and XCode.
  3. Proficient in writing unit tests and functional tests.
  4. In-depth knowledge of the iOS application frameworks.

---- Preferred Qualifications ----
  1. BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. Extensive knowledge in object-oriented patterns, MVC architecture, multithreading, networking and memory management.
  3. Experience with analyzing a feature in production using analytics and experiments.
  4. Good written, verbal communication skills.
  5. Strong collaboration skills
  6. Experience with shipping efficient, reliable, crash-free code that reaches millions of users.
  7. Experience with Android mobile platform
  8. Unit testing and a/b testing knowledge

For Canada-based roles: The base salary range for this role is CAD$126,000 per year - CAD$140,000 per year.
