About the Role
As a key member of the Brand Experiences team, you will define and implement design strategies to bring to life the best possible creative solutions for the needs of Uber's global leadership team. Working closely with leadership teams, you will tell the Uber story through presentation, engage a global audience through compelling design.

Success will be measured by your ability to quickly understand presentation needs, collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams including design, comms, marketing, and finance and deliver exciting and effective presentations in a timely manner.
Occasional travel may be required.
What You'll Do
- Create presentations in various formats, varying from standard slide by slide walkthroughs to compelling stories for high-profile presentations
- Take content outlines and visualize slides based on content, presentation goals and brand standards
- Collaborate with senior management to build on-brand new business materials, including Google slides/Apple Keynote/Microsoft PowerPoint templates and breaker slides, concept mock-ups, coverage mock-ups, charts and infographics, print materials, reports, white papers, etc.
- Work cross-functionally with non-Designers, who may only have a vague understanding of their need, to co-create a plan for executing quality presentations
- Provide thought-leadership on the latest presentation trends and capabilities, including AI software and implementation
- Ensure design output adheres to all best practices and style guidelines, and always work towards 100% accuracy
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years experience as a communications designer
- Expert-level knowledge in Google Slides, Apple Keynote, Microsoft PowerPoint, and the Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Have a keen eye for breaking down complex information into beautiful and simplified content to better engage our audience
- Outstanding attention to detail and expertise in typography, color, and layout
- Demonstrated experience communicating and partnering with business leaders and speakers to streamline processes and ensure smooth execution
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills
- Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills
- A portfolio full of great work showing high-quality presentation work
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of After Effects, Figma, and motion design
- A desire to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with a broad in-house team
- Degree in design, visual communications; or equivalent
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$130,000 per year - USD$144,000 per year.
