About the Role

As part of the EMEA Talent Acquisition team, you will play a pivotal role in driving the recruitment efforts for our dynamic Community Operations team at Uber. Joining an exceptional group of recruiters, your responsibilities will span across all four Centers of Excellence (COEs) including Lisbon, Krakow, Limerick, and Greenlights across the EMEA region.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with multiple regional teams, working on diverse roles and engaging with local and global stakeholders to ensure a seamless recruitment process. Your contribution will be critical in maintaining process excellence while keeping candidate experience top of mind, striking the right balance between speed and volume to meet Uber's evolving needs.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end recruiting process, including market insights, sourcing, candidate assessment and management, offer recommendations, negotiation, and acceptance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with hiring teams to ensure participation and collaboration through the recruiting process for individual requisitions (e.g. hiring strategy meetings, kick-off meetings, sourcing sessions, panel alignment).
  • #Trip Obsessed: Provide a consistent and positive candidate experience with proactive communication and engagement throughout the recruiting process.
  • Proactively assesse recruitment performance (e.g.offers report, time in stage, conversion rates) and generate insights and trends for future hiring.
  • Partner internally: We have an outstanding 'People & Places' team at Uber. You'll collaborate with Compensation, DEI, Benefits, HR, and Mobility specialists to deliver results.
  • Understand candidates' skill sets and how they tie into the broader team, along with Uber's goals.

What You'll Need

  • Demonstrable experience in high-volume, full-lifecycle recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Exceptional communication, influencing, and closing skills.
  • A dedication to diversity and inclusion, with a track record of implementing creative strategies to attract a wide range of talent.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the capability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Effective communication is key for interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills ensure clear and transparent exchanges.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Building relationships with candidates and stakeholders requires strong interpersonal skills. Being approachable, empathetic, and able to connect with people from diverse backgrounds is crucial
  • Adaptability: The recruitment landscape is dynamic, and adaptability to changing trends, technology, and business needs is crucial
  • Attention to Detail: Precise attention to detail helps in accurately evaluating resumes, noting candidate qualifications, and ensuring a smooth hiring process.
  • Problem-Solving: Recruiters often encounter challenges like hard-to-fill roles or unique candidate situations. Problem-solving skills aid in finding creative solutions.
  • Negotiation Skills: Negotiating offers with candidates requires finesse to ensure both parties are satisfied with the terms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in hiring for different languages in Krakow.
