About the Role
Incentives at Uber are constantly evolving to solve some of the world's most challenging and exciting marketplace problems. With a focus on delivering the best experience to Uber's riders and drivers every day, incentives are short-term solutions to improve the experience in our platform.
As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the marketplace incentives strategy in Brazil, running large investments, supervising business performance, and executing business analysis for continuous improvement. This role is vital in ensuring that our marketplace remains competitive, efficient, and aligned with our company's strategic objectives, and requires strong intuition for business, as well as analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

What the Candidate Will Do
- Manage incentives and allocation process
- Monitor financial targets, marketplace health metrics, and competition moves to develop action plans to reach our strategic goals and enable data-driven business decisions through inentives
- Develop data analysis and XPs to support business decisions regarding growth opportunities
- Coordinate projects with our cross-functional teams to improve processes and tools
- Build and maintain relationships with local partners, assertively communicating and presenting ideas, findings, and insights to assist the decision-making process
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in operations, product, strategy, or project management
- Excel/data management knowledge
- SQL knowledge is a must
- Exceptional communication and organization skills
- Ability to think strategically, handle ambiguity, and problem-solve in a fast-paced multicultural environment
- Data-driven decision-making mentality and a explorer; use data to solve problems and effectively translate quantitative findings into action plans
- A self-starter attitude is a must
- English fluency
- Some high-growth operations or startup experience is preferred
- Experience crafting experiments
