About the Role

The Driver team builds and strengthens the relationship with our drivers and their experience with our platform. We aim to keep our driver base engaged and advocate for their experience. We develop and operationalize strategies that help us achieve our business goals. We work at scale across cities on critical challenges and initiatives to deliver value and phenomenal experiences to our drivers. As an integral member of Uber's Mexico Driver team, you will help, through research and analytics, understand our existing driver pain points and identify and prioritize the highest opportunities. We move metrics by leading cross-functional teams together to execute initiatives that could get to our targets.

What you'll do:

Analytics: Demonstrates critical thinking and analysis capacity. Monitor our main KPIs, and have a strong attention to detail.

Hands-on orientation: act like an owner!

Problem-solving: Optimize our driver business performance, detect opportunities & issues, and propose improvements that will have an immediate impact.

Strategic mindset: Determine strategies and tactics to improve drivers' experience.

Stakeholder management: Collaborate closely with key stakeholders (Regional Ops, Support ops, Marketplace, Marketing, etc).

Project Management: Design, implement, and analyze initiatives to improve Driver earnings, perception, and experience.

What you'll need:
  1. Education: We encourage people from all backgrounds to apply
  2. At least 1 year of professional experience in roles such as: operations, business analytics, project management, finance, business intelligence, strategy, consulting, or similar.
  3. Data-Driven Mentality: Proven experience interpreting and communicating data to various audiences; ability to translate quantitative findings into action plans. SQL proficiency is a must.
  4. Teamwork: Demonstrate optimism, respect others, and work well in a team. Ability to work with people from a diverse set of backgrounds and responsibilities.
  5. Communication: Spanish and English proficiency. Able to present ideas in a comprehensive, yet succinct manner.
  6. A self-starter attitude: the ability to self-serve, investigate, and obtain the data we require will make you much more effective in this role.

Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber's cultural identity.
