About the Role
We have worked with channel partners and have already integrated API to their system in order to provide scalable solutions for our marketplace merchants. (i.g Merchants can utilize Uber Direct using the Channel Partner platform instead of directly connecting to Uber API)
As a Channel Partnerships Manager, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our business through strategic partnerships with channel partners. This role emphasizes strategic planning, execution, and collaboration with channel partners to ensure mutual growth and success. You will lead initiatives to establish strategies, set and monitor targets, evaluate results, and continuously optimize solutions to drive sales performance.
You will work on developing practical solutions, communicating insights to business leaders, and collaborating with multiple business and technical stakeholders to bring new visions to life with channel partners. Your work will directly impact how businesses leverage our delivery network for last-mile solutions.
Your Impact in Role
- Partner Management: Be the primary point of contact for channel partners, manage day-to-day operations, foster effective communication, and oversee performance tracking and review.
- Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive strategies to align business objectives with channel partners, set measurable targets, and ensure the execution of scaling plans.
- Data Analysis: Leverage data-driven insights to solve business problems and enhance sales performance, providing clear verbal and written communication of findings.
- Operations Management: Identify inefficiencies in processes, propose and implement solutions, and drive operational excellence (e.g., centralizing processes, producing performance reports).
- Project Management: Identify high-impact opportunities, design actionable plans, and execute projects from start to finish.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams (Account Management, Sales, Support, Product, Finance, Operations) to align efforts and achieve business goals.
The Experience You'll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in external-facing roles such as operations management, account management, or channel partner management.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong strategic thinking and organizational skills, with a track record of managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Experience in developing efficient and impactful solutions for business growth.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work autonomously, delivering results within tight timelines.
- Proficiency in analyzing and interpreting data to inform decision-making and improve performance.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to approach challenges methodically and with structured thinking.
- Native Japanese proficiency and fluent English skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable with analytically heavy topics with SQL ability highly preferred
