About the Role

On the Uber Eats Regional Operations team, we serve the business and local markets by building regional strategies to grow the business, launching scalable initiatives across the region, and providing recommendations and insights on key opportunity areas. In this role, you will join the Merchant Operations team to support one of the key verticals aimed at providing the best experience for merchants by scaling impactful processes, supporting country teams, and driving innovation. Your focus will include areas such as chargeback policies, merchant quality, reliability, engagement, and reporting.

What You'll Do

  • Analytical Deep Dives & Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze performance metrics to measure the success of strategies and initiatives, build and maintain dashboards, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommendations to local teams and stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams, including local markets, marketing, finance, and product, to gain support for initiatives that drive growth and track progress across the business.
  • Build & Scale Ops Processes: Create and scale processes across EMEA to enable the business to operate efficiently and grow. Use data-driven decision-making to understand performance and prioritize high-impact processes.
  • Project Management & Execution: Lead and manage projects, including creating launch and expansion plans, aligning team members, tracking issues, conducting root-cause analyses, and measuring marketplace performance.
  • Global Product Influence: Collaborate with Global Product teams to understand the performance of newly launched products across merchant earnings, reporting, and engagement, ensuring EMEA perspectives are considered as products evolve.
  • Governance & Presentations: Support governance by preparing monthly reviews and presentations to keep all stakeholders informed of progress. Champion data governance and consistency.

What You'll Need

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in Business Operations, Management Consulting, or Investment Banking with a strong analytical background.
  • Advanced skills in SQL and spreadsheets, with experience in detailed quantitative analysis, data interpretation, and structured deliverables.
  • Proven ability to communicate analysis and recommendations effectively, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to structure challenges into actionable plans.
  • Solid business acumen with the ability to quickly identify key performance drivers.
  • Demonstrated project management experience with the ability to set up and implement processes or projects from scratch.
  • A positive and collaborative "can-do" approach, with a resourceful and innovative mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with marketplace dynamics and merchant operations.
  • Experience in the EMEA region is a plus.
