About the Role
Uber Eats Japan is seeking a dedicated and versatile Operations Manager to join our Merchant Experience Team and lead our merchant sustainability efforts in Japan.
In this role, you will be responsible for establishing a solid data foundation to support merchant sustainability, developing and implementing a strategic framework for packaging transitions, creating and executing go-to-market strategies.
You will leverage your strong project management skills to drive and oversee these initiatives while working closely with internal teams (operations, sales, policy, legal, communications, and the global sustainability team) as well as external partners (merchants and packaging suppliers) in both English and Japanese. Your efforts will be crucial in enhancing awareness and advancing impactful local initiatives that align with Uber Eats' global sustainability goals.
Your Impact in Role :
Project Management:
- Oversee all aspects of sustainability initiatives.
- Manage data collection, validation, management, and process automation.
- Design supply chain, procurement, and other merchant experience processes.
Communication & Program Development:
- Communicate effectively with internal and external parties.
- Develop subsidy and incentive programs to drive adoption.
