About the Role
We are looking for a Pricing & Deal Desk Manager to help us optimize our pricing strategies and streamline deal-making processes, driving the growth of U4B. The Pricing & Deal Desk team, nestled within the Global Revenue Operations unit at U4B, plays a pivotal role in powering our global go-to-market (GTM) efforts. By joining our team, you'll have the opportunity to shape key pricing and sales strategies, engage with cross-functional teams, and directly impact the business's bottom line.
This role calls for a combination of strategic thinking, analytical prowess, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep understanding of the B2B tech landscape. What You'll Do
- Pricing and Deal Desk Strategy: Craft competitive B2B pricing and commercial strategies that deliver value and drive growth.
- Process Development and Implementation: Design and roll out efficient, scalable processes to enhance our operational efficiency.
- Customer incentive Program Design: Design incentive initiatives, determining which programs to launch, how to price them, and setting clear guidelines on deal qualifications.
- Support Global Sales Teams: Provide our sales teams around the world with strategic insights and guidance to help them excel.
- Collaboration & Execution: Manage key projects, working closely with teams from Sales, Product, Marketing, and Legal to ensure aligned execution.
- Data Analysis & Insights: Analyze data to gain actionable insights, assessing the performance of our deal desk, incentives, and other key metrics.
- Deal Review and Recommendation: Review deal incentives and terms at both the Micro and Macro level for suitability and provide valuable recommendations to the sales team in support of value creation.
- Lead and coach of pricing and incentive analyst
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of experience in relevant roles: Deal Desk, pricing, commercial strategy, finance, consulting, or technology sectors.
- Proficient in data analysis using Excel/Google Sheets.
- Basic SQL skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within SaaS, and/or consumption type B2B businesses is a major plus.
- People leadership
- Experience with Salesforce
- Solid financial knowledge, including an understanding of P&L statements.
- Solid presentation and communication abilities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, MBA or masters equivalent
- Innate curiosity with a track record of leveraging data for business decision-making.
- Demonstrated experience in building relationships across departments, preempting concerns, and effectively advocating for priorities.
- Comfortable navigating shifting priorities and tackling new challenges.
- Proactive mindset with a strong focus on results and taking ownership of projects.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking capabilities.
- Solid business understanding and acumen.
- Effective organizational and project management skills; capable of leading multiple projects simultaneously and working with global stakeholders
For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$152,000 per year - USD$168,500 per year.
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$152,000 per year - USD$168,500 per year.
