About the Role
We are looking to hire a leader to help shape and drive Uber's delivery and logistics opportunities in India SA including C2C, B2C and B2B opportunities. This is a unique opportunity for one of the best experiences of your career where you will partner with experienced leaders across Uber's global teams and scale existing verticals like Uber Package and it's variants (like store pickups) as well as evaluate new opportunities in the rapidly evolving delivery & logistcs ecosystem.
As part of this role, you will have multiple experiences of bringing to life new businesses incl scaling our nascent C2C business Uber Package and evaluating expansion to adjacencies. In addition, you will work closely with the India leadership to evaluate other opportunities in logistics on B2B and B2C business.

What the Candidate Will Do
- Strategic thinking & Operationalising: Shaping strategy and alignment with regional and global teams around Uber's gameplan in India.
- Stakeholder management: Rallying business and functional teams towards a common goal and deliver results.
- Project Management: Independently drive multiple complex projects which have material long-term impact on business.
- Creative thinking: Display a creative solutions-driven mindset to create further efficiency, with an anything is possible attitude.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate across Uber's regional and global teams across as well as distill insights and implications clearly.
What the Candidate Will Need
- 9+ years of experience in management consulting, Internet commerce in operations or product roles. MBA preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to a range of audiences.
- Experienced in solving strategically and analytically complex business problems using data-driven decision-making and sound business judgment.
- Able to build relationships with a diverse set of internal partners in a constantly evolving environment.
- Curious and eager to learn about all aspects of the business. Can build up skills and knowledge fast to become a recognized reference in a given subject matter.
