About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional leader to lead our Restaurant Operations in Australia & New Zealand. This role is critical in driving UberEats' commercial success by delivering market-leading restaurant selection, experience, and growth, while balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate will be a versatile thought leader with strong analytical skills, capable of creating innovative, scalable processes that meet the needs of our restaurant partners and align with Uber's business objectives.

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate Globally: Work with global, regional, and local teams to design and implement scalable processes, launching tech-driven solutions to maximize merchant value and align with Uber's commercial goals.
  • Drive Strategic Vision: Develop and lead a compelling strategy for restaurant selection, experience, and growth on UberEats, ensuring these initiatives enhance platform growth and consumer satisfaction.
  • Manage Operations: Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, resolving challenges such as tech issues, weather disruptions, and safety concerns.
  • Set and Achieve Goals: Build, monitor, and refine ANZ-level objectives, empowering Sales teams with strategic programs to drive engagement and sustainable growth.
  • Lead Cross-Functional Initiatives: Collaborate with Restaurant Sales, Ad Sales, GTM, Consumer Operations, and Marketplace teams to ensure successful market growth and operational health.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team, enhancing team structure, efficiency, and engagement. Foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and accountability.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Spearhead initiatives aimed at improving merchant experience, performance, and lifecycle management, ensuring success for our partners.
  • A lign Local and Global Priorities: Build strong relationships with global stakeholders to align Uber's global priorities with local market execution.

The experience you'll bring:

  • Extensive experience in strategic and operational roles with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • Strong leadership experience, managing and developing diverse teams (2nd line managemnt experience is advantageous)
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong understanding of data and technical concepts.
  • Experience managing complex projects with multiple internal and external partners.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, competitive, and often ambiguous environment.
  • Experience partnering with sales and account management teams.
  • Experience with a marketplace product is highly desirable.
