About the Team:
Within UberEats, the Sales team is responsible for selecting restaurants available on the application throughout Switzerland. The aim is to offer a wide and varied range of restaurants in each area covered by the app, and to unearth the local nuggets that will accelerate the development of Uber Eats.
To achieve this, Sales identifies, canvasses, negotiates and accompanies restaurants to convince them to adopt a new sales channel: delivery via the UberEats app. All stages of the sales process are covered: from making contact (canvassing) through negotiation, right up to the first delivery by the restaurant.
Relations with restaurants are mainly by telephone or email, but tactical travel can sometimes be organized.

About the role:
You will be immersed in Uber's high-impact Sales team and will partner with a mentor and a host of other team resources to experience the dynamics of the Tech and Delivery world.
The Sales Internship is a phenomenal opportunity to demonstrate your interpersonal skills and sales abilities to expand Uber Eats' reach. Who are we looking for? Someone who is a natural at selling and influencing, knows where the best eats are around town, is passionate about food and Uber, and enjoys negotiating to build the best partnerships. You will hone your skills in prospecting and learning key sales processes that will set up new restaurant partners for success.
The team recruiting today is based in Geneva & Zurich and covers the entire country.
What You Will Do
The Field Sales Representative position offers a unique opportunity to demonstrate your sales acumen and contribute to growing UberEats. This is an opportunity to gain real-world experience in sales and relationship building in a fast-paced, growing environment:
- Clearly present Uber Eats' services, values and projects to restaurant owners (prospects), to make them want to join us.
- Develop and apply prospecting skills to build strong partnerships with restaurants in your designated territory.
- Clearly communicate the value of Uber and its latest products to potential partners
- Work closely with the Operations Team and Account Managers to successfully onboard and activate new restaurant partners
- Serve as an ambassador for Uber Eats' mission, brand, and product offerings
- Proactively engage with prospects through various channels including email, phone calls, and face-to-face meetings
What You Will Need
- Work authorisation in Switzerland - No visa sponsorship is available for internships
- Language Proficiency: Fluent English, French and/or German
- Bachelor or Master is a plus
- Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus
- Exposure to Salesforce or other CRM platforms
- Willingness to take initiative, work collaboratively, and build relationships with high-value partners
- Clear communication and strong persuasive skills
