You'll be at the forefront, introducing businesses to Uber while devising and testing new sales strategies. We need a highly motivated self-starter with an engaging personality who thrives in a collaborative team environment.

As the Head of Enterprise Sales for Uber for Business in Mexico, you will be a hands-on leader operating globally to expand our business by acquiring new strategic customers in Mexico. You will oversee Uber for Business' Enterprise accounts, managing the team's activities from initial outreach to deal closure and scaling.

This is a hybrid role - our team collaborates in-person out of our incredible office in Mexico City 2-3 days/week. We encourage our employees to work from our office on additional days if they desire to do so.

What You'll Do

The Enterprise Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to deal closure, for our B2B segment. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of market dynamics, a knack for negotiation, and a customer-centric approach. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, the ability to manage stakeholders effectively, and a proven track record in sales management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Lifecycle Management:- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.

    - Manage the end-to-end sales process, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, and contract negotiation.

    - Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, monitor progress, and report on key metrics.
  • Negotiation and Deal-Making:- Lead complex negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

    - Identify and capitalize on opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.

    - Maintain a deep understanding of competitive offerings and industry trends to position our solutions effectively.
  • Market and Platform Expertise:- Stay abreast of industry developments, market trends, and competitive landscape.

    - Leverage platform knowledge to demonstrate the value and capabilities of our solutions.

    - Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with market demands.
  • Customer Centricity:- Foster strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and challenges.

    - Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction and long-term loyalty.

    - Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and solutions that drive business value.
  • Stakeholder Management:- Build relationships with internal stakeholders, including marketing, product, and customer support teams.

    - Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.

    - Communicate effectively with senior leadership, updating sales performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Sales Management Leadership:- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

    - Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular reviews, and provide feedback and coaching.

    - Drive sales training and development programs to enhance team capabilities and knowledge.

Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of B2B sales experience (ideally in SaaS and/or leading sales teams)
  • Proven track record of growing a customer base and consistently exceeding revenue targets and company goals in a competitive environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs
  • Strong use of insights and data-driven decision-making to inform the sales process
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a high-performing sales team.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience in Enterprise Sales: Proven track record of success in managing and closing large, complex B2B sales deals within the Mexican market, with an in-depth understanding of the local business landscape, regulatory environment, and customer needs.
  • Strong Relationship-Building Skills: Exceptional ability to develop and nurture long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives and decision-makers, to drive sales and foster partnerships.
  • Strategic and Analytical Thinking: Demonstrated ability to craft and execute data-driven sales strategies that align with business objectives, coupled with strong analytical skills to assess market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English: Bilingual proficiency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and present to clients and internal teams in both languages, ensuring clear and impactful communication across diverse audiences.
