About the Role
This is an exciting role in the Uber Eats UKI Enterprise team. Enterprise owns the largest and most recognisable restaurant brands in the country, from local favourites like Rosa's Thai and Honest Burger, to national staples like Pret and KFC.
The Merchant Growth Manager role sits in Strategy and Operations within the Enterprise team and is responsible for the strategy and implementation of initiatives which drive demand for Restaurants and reduce defects for Customers.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is entrepreneurial, loves to hustle, can operate strategically and operationally and can deliver through others. No two days will be the same. You'll be responsible for the Enterprise marketing calendar, own the playbook on how we activate Merchants, own the playbook on how we remove operational cost for Merchants working with Uber, and own the Customer Experience. You will build strategy, work cross functionally to pull the collective knowledge of Uber and deliver through a high performing Sales and Account Management team.

This role calls for a problem solver with a positive attitude, who will thrive with ambiguity and can operate using a structured and thorough approach. More than anything, you'll be passionate about delivering for Restaurant Partners and Couriers.
What you will do
- Cross Functional collaboration: work cross functionally with marketing, operations and Customer Support, to collectively build and scale solutions
- Merchant Operations: own the tools and approach used by Sales and Account Management to reduce defects affecting Customer Experience, and improve the operations of Merchants trading on Uber
- Demand Generation: own the tools and approach used by Sales and Account Management to generate demand, growing order volumes for Merchants and achieving objectives such as increased frequency, loyalty, basket etc
- Propositions: own Merchant facing propositions, such as UberOne participation
- GoToMarket: Design how the Enterprise team takes proposition to market, building strategy, goals and operational execution playbooks. Work closely with Sales and Account Managers to create a feedback loop and iterate to raise the bar using collective knowledge
What you will need
- Strong experience of working autonomously and with ambiguity, and delivering results which last
- Past experience in one or several of; Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, GTM, Strategy, Consulting, Strategy & Planning (S&P)
- Solid commercial experience and excellent commercial acumen
- Proven track record of working in a fast paced environment, where you've met or surpassed objectives/goals
- Confident in using data to make decisions, with the ability to source and structure data (such as using SQL) a plus
- Problem solving skills, able to think creatively and take the initiative
- Experience in Retail, FMCG and Hospitality preferred but not required
