About the Role
We are hiring a Driver Operations Lead to lead the growth of our taxi and rideshare supply bases and improve their engagement with Uber's products. The role will lead a driver recruitment program by working closely with fleet partners.
The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen and analytical skills to manage driver hiring funnels. Given the nature of the work, you will also possess strong communication skills to facilitate cross-functional and cross-cultural communication. You are curious about new problems with our evolving business and willing to tackle them by rolling up your sleeves.
Your Impact in Role
- Lead the planning and implementation of new driver recruitment program, closely working with both fleet partners and internal stakeholders
- Budget management on the hiring program while deciding which area the team should prioritize
- Develop a lead-generation strategy with focusing mostly on digital marketing activities
- Streamline driver onboarding process to provide the best driver experience and achieve high-efficiency onboarding process

The Experience You'll Bring
- Preferably seven or more years of experience working with recruitment and/or customer funnel management from lead generation to conversion in a fast-moving environment.
- Creative, solutions-driven mindset - You have a "get things done" attitude and a willingness to get "in the trenches" to work with our stakeholders to develop creative solutions to challenges that haven't been addressed before.
- Bilingual in Japanese and English
- Sound analytical skills that can develop deep insights and recommend data-driven solutions and decisions.
- Clear communication that enables you to work effectively in cross-functional and cross-cultural environments.
- Experience working with digital marketing from lead generation to conversion
