What You Will Do
- Lead & Scale: Define Uber Ads' long-term vision in Germany and execute a go-to-market strategy to drive adoption and revenue growth.
- Develop Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and partners, positioning Uber Ads as an essential part of their marketing mix.
- Drive Sales Performance: Own the full sales cycle-from identifying opportunities and pitching solutions to negotiating contracts and optimizing campaigns for maximum impact.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with global and regional teams, including Product, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, to tailor Uber's advertising solutions for the German market.
- Market Analysis & Strategy: Stay ahead of market trends, industry developments, and competitor activity to refine strategies and uncover new growth opportunities.
- Build & Lead a High-Performing Team: Recruit, develop, and manage a world-class sales team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and results.
- Industry Representation: Serve as the face of Uber Ads in Germany, representing the company at key industry events, engaging with stakeholders, and increasing brand awareness.

Qualifications
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in German and English (both written and verbal) is required.
- Advertising Expertise: Proven experience in digital advertising, media sales, or retail media, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth.
- Leadership Experience: Demonstrated success in leading and scaling ad sales teams, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the German advertising landscape, including key industry players, market trends, and regulatory considerations.
- Sales & Negotiation Skills: Exceptional ability to engage and influence C-level decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage insights to optimize sales strategies and drive business outcomes.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Hands-on leadership approach, comfortable navigating ambiguity and building business lines from scratch.
- Preferred Experience: Background in digital advertising with major platforms such as Meta, Google, Amazon, Snap, or TikTok, or experience in adtech or retail media networks is a plus.
