As a Country Manager at Uber, you will lead growth and innovation across Germany to ensure the long-term success of Uber in the local market. This role requires excellent collaboration across different functional and specialized teams and can bridge the gap with the city, Regional, and HQ teams. The Country Manager will be an integral part of the Germany Leadership Team and can contribute to all areas of the business.

What the Candidate Will Do
- Define and evolve growth/innovation strategy for Germany
- Ensure execution of new growth projects, including but not limited to geographical expansion, new product launches growth, loyalty programs and sustainability
- Evolve and protect the operating model, to mitigate tax and legal challenges, and maximize growth through model changes
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure projects are successful
- Track the performance of key initiatives and ensure targets are met
What the Candidate Will Need
- Minimum 7 years of proven track record in management in consulting, operations, strategy, technology, business development, or a similar area at the managerial level
- Data-driven decision mentality and sound business judgement - you understand what drives value for each group in our marketplace
- Experience leading complex projects in a high-growth environment
- Showcased a combination of strategic thinking and operational excellence
- Experience in a high-growth environment
- Track record of overcoming adversity
- Fluency in German and English
